Feel Good Friday: Fudge and Naked Cowboys, just not together.

logo3-larger-1

Happy Friday everyone!  This week’s Feel Good Friday is brought to you by none other than The Girl Next Door, herself!  I had so much fun hosting last week though, thank you so much to everyone who linked up!

This week I’m choosing to make a list of 5 things which make me feel good:

1.  Next week my baby girl turns 5!

To be honest with you, this actually makes me sad.  However, she is very excited about her birthday and about her Build-a-Bear party coming up, so that does make me feel good!

2.  School starts in 25 days!

I honestly don’t want to see the summer end, but Lord have mercy, these children are driving me crazy!!

3.  Our trip to Mackinac Island is very soon!

My whole family is going on this vacation, and I’m so excited.  I plan on eating lots of fudge and I can’t wait to ride my bike around the island!

4.  Speaking of trips, my NYC trip is 3 weeks from today!!

Watch out Naked Cowboy because Tami is coming to town!

5.  I had some very good workouts this week!

I’ve had some “off” weeks this summer as far as my workouts go, but I think I am finally back on the workout wagon!  Last night during my run I ran 4.1 miles, with my average pace being 8:38.  That’s great for me!  Not only that, but I did not feel like I was dying at the end, I felt very strong!  I may post some big news next week about my next fitness goal, so stay tuned.  If you already know what I’m talking about, shhhh!

Have a great weekend, and be sure to head over and link up to Feel Good Friday!

I am too! And that island too. Have so much fun.
It makes me sad how fast my kids are growing up too. Happy Birthday to your little girl!

Those are all fabulous things!

Will Lainey be starting Kindergartes?!? In Arkansas, you have to have turned 5 by August 1st (so she wouldn't - but I don't know how it is in your neck of the woods).

Have a fabulous Friday!

Love that picture of the cats. That has me still chuckling. Naked Cowboy isn't so naked in those briefs. He has to choose something better. I don't like white briefs!! Maybe a different color...

Farrah's mom is so creepy in the way she talks. Her voice is weird, and she's always so strange with her, "I love you, baby". It just comes off as so weird and fake. And what's up with her nostrils? You can see straight up them!

OMG, Caitlyn and Tyler's families are SUPER trashy!!!! Like, whoa!

It's only been a couple of weeks since our journey began but we are so over the moon excited! I just wanted to drop in and invite you along for the ride - either you're a follower of my OTHER blog or just a sweet person I'd love to come along!

Hopefully, the secrecy won't last long... www.DefinitelyMaybeBaby.com

Much love, luck, and blessings!!

I'm really longing to hop back on the running wagon again! I've missed out for the past 3 weeks because of...life!

4.1 miles though? I much more of a 3 miles at a time MAX girl!

I want to go to NY and to Mackinac Island! A family I babysit for goes there every summer!!

A marathon? That's my guess!

It's a great challenge and an awesome accomplishment. If that's not the goal, it should be at some point. I've done five of them, and I can't wait to do another one someday. Unfortunatly, a bun in the oven and living in Florida is a brutal combination for attempting such feats.

I would live in New York if my husband would live there with me. It's him or the Big Apple. So far, I'm not sure about my choice.
On another note, I've met that crazy cowboy. Tell him I say "Hi!" And, have fun!!!

Ooooo...I almost forgot about the Naked Cowboy. I'm going to NYC on Weds. I wonder if I can get a picture of him with my tranny Lego?

Tyly said...

Yes, I was able to rock that bikini! Sadly, it would look NOTHING like that on me now! I'll get there again, and thanks so much for the compliment! It really is motivating!! :)

Those are some great things to feel good about. Especially the naked cowboy. It looks like he has some nice legs, and may be the only guy I have ever seen who looks good in tighy-whiteys.
