This. Is. Boring.

A couple people asked me what Shawn and I did for our anniversary, and I can’t believe I forgot to tell you!  Last weekend the girls stayed at my parent’s house, and Shawn and I went to a Michael Buble concert.  We’ve actually seen him in concert before, but this performance was even better!  He has such a beautiful voice and he’s so entertaining that even if you didn’t know how he was, you could go to his concert and still have an amazing time.  So, if you ever get the chance to see him, GO!

A group called Naturally 7 opened for him, and they were awesome!

They sing everything a cappella and also use vocal play and beat-boxing to make it sound like they have instruments.  I’m telling you, it was seriously amazeballs!

Here are a few pictures of Michael (who was my free pass that night, just in case!) :

Onto this weekend!  As I mentioned on Friday, Saturday night we went to see The Nutcracker with my Mom and my sister and her daughters.  I had never been to The Nutcracker before, so I really had no idea what to expect.  I think the girls really enjoyed it, especially since it was put on by a youth ballet, they loved seeing all the little girls (and boys) in costumes.  I liked it, but I thought it was a little long, and I was starting to get bored at the end.  The best part of the final act was when my niece who was sitting next to me blew out a HUGE fart!  I may have laughed, and it may have been inappropriate.

Here are the girls and I at home before the show:

They’re actually wearing their Christmas dresses from last year!

I didn’t take any pictures during the ballet, but I did take a few of the girls waiting for it to start.  As usual, my nieces refused to smile!

Alivia’s toothless grin cracks me up!

Well, I’m off to wrap some more presents and watch Bridalplasty.  Is anyone else watching that?  It’s a total train wreck, but I’m addicted.  Last week Shawn watched it with me, and he actually started praying for the rapture during it, that’s how bad it is!

P.S.  Yes, my life and my blog posts are boring lately.  I’m praying for some crazy funny shit to happen so I don’t have to keep blogging about lost lunchboxes and farts.

Two things:

1. The girls look so cute in those dresses! They were the best dressed ones there for sure.

2. What was by Natalie's eyes in that picture? And why won't Andrea's girls flash their pearly whites?

Once another thing we have in common. I love Michael Bubble! I have all of his CD's. I would love to see him in concert.
Sorry I haven't commented lately, been crazy busy. But I have been reading if that counts for anything.

He is so damn hot. I dream of you, Michael. :)

Your daughters look gorgeous in their dresses, and you, as always, are a total MILF.

I have completely forgotten to mention that I got your card!!! They are beautiful, and I love that it included little blurbs on the inside. Very, very nicely done. Not surprisingly, I haven't done any yet.

Growing up I was always in the nutcracker and so I'm a little bias haha! My parents always talked about how drawn out it was but I just loved it! Hope you had a fabulous weekend!
PS- I'm SOOO jealous you went to the Michael Buble concert :) Love all the pictures.

You know I like my men of the darker variety but oh Michael Buble, the things I would do to you...but I would request that he sings throughout lovemaking! :)

Your blog isn't boring! I still LOVE reading it all the time... but be careful what you wish for or you might wind up with another random injury to blog about!

Happy Belated Anniversary to you and Shawn!!!

How could you NOT laugh at a moment like that! I need to wath that darn show. I've seen the previews and just that made me throw up in my mouth a little.

Haha--admitting is the first step:) Don't worry: none of us think your blog is boring. Hello! You got to see Michael Buble! That's awesome. Looks like you were pretty close, too. (Or you just have a really nice camera...)

I never appreciated Michael Buble until recently. He does have a gorgeous voice, I gotta say.

I'm glad your niece blasted you out of the boredom at the ballet.

I love blogs about farts.

And boring lives.

They make me feel good for not being the only boring person in the world!

Boring? Michael Buble and The Nutcracker do NOT equal boring.

Changing diapers, cleaning up unraveled dental floss, doing extra laundry from excessive blow-out diapers, and wrapping Christmas presents during my itty bitty bit of free time equals boring. Try again, Tami! :)

I would die to see Michael B! LOVE HIM :) Happy Anniversary!

I have to be honest with you, thinking about Michael Buble in concert kinda makes me want to yawn, but since you said it was awesome, I would go if I was given the (free) opportunity.

That first band sounds totally awesome though! Love that!

I just saw the listing for Bridalplasty last night. What the hell is it??? they were saying "the winner of this will get the next surgery" and they were all in gowns that were "all wrong" for them according to some man. Do explain. K-ster told me we don't watch wedding shows in this house. Hmm I guess he's never around when I watch Say Yes to the Dress and Bridezillas and some other wedding show on whatever channel Bridezillas comes on. I just have to watch to see how the other 90% live!!

We went and saw the Nutcracker last Saturday put on by the Toledo Ballet! We had a girls night out with my SiL, her baby, my mom and my SiL's mom. It was so much fun. I have the cutest pick of Peanut sitting on the Nutcracker's lap. That was also my first time seeing the Nutcracker. I say that I have the curse of the Nutcraker because every time I try to go something happens to me or someone I know and I don't end up going. Peanut was feeling sick on Saturday but she insisted on going. She loved it and now does ballet all over the house.

And yes I have watched the lovely train wreck that is Bridalplasty! Love it!
