(Like I said, it's only slightly easier.)

I say you hit the jackpot twice. Moon and Roth? That's way to easy!

I am squigged out to be call Mrs deClouet though. Mostly because I pride myself on being the complete opposite of my mother in law and this detail bridges the gap. Mostly at the bank, doctors office, all places where you have to check in or they keep records. Nobody seems to have a way to deal with someone with two last names. Its annoying. But, I couldn't give up my name either. Mark was cool with it and another reason I love him so much. Our business name is Harmon Inc and I wanted to keep the Harmon in my name for professional reasons but looking back at it I would have just kept the Harmon and not taken the Ramsey part because it has been a problem. I feel like we change so much as wives anyway and I am the same person as i was as a Harmon so why change? Plus then all the changes you have to make on your stationary, banks, credit cards, passport, blah blah blah is annoying as hell. I get the whole tradition thing but I'm over it.Lola Harmon-Ramseynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6413201622622453585.post-35479268814452054792010-01-14T09:12:41.100-05:002010-01-14T09:12:41.100-05:00I loved that part of the movie! BUT if you are close enough to the person I would say...even pretend your joking )but not really) "ohh please" call me by my first name!" Unfortunately, as a teacher there is no running from the last name. When I used to teach PreK at my old school the kids called me by my first name, in a public school that practically forbidden! I don't know how much i'll like changing my name if I get married either! I think that MOON for a last name is totally 100% awesome...i dont know how you ever gave that up! Its adorable!Llamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11285274453164422958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6413201622622453585.post-62170109897440805372010-01-14T00:15:49.727-05:002010-01-14T00:15:49.727-05:00Love this post, just the other day someone called ...Love this post, just the other day someone called me mam and I about lost it. I mean, Moon is a totally bad ass name! Three years into marriage (almost) and I am still grieving the loss of the name, hence the moon tattoo I got.

I was always so proud of being a Moon, and I kind of wonder if I miss the name more because of how much I loved Grandma?

I'm glad that Amity took the name though, because her name is rad.

yup, I used the word rad.Hillaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00970558737175846108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6413201622622453585.post-49307169751495336242010-01-13T21:48:05.793-05:002010-01-13T21:48:05.793-05:00Lol I know what you mean! I also don't like calling the parents Mrs. because it must be awkward for them.
