To whom it may concern:

Please excuse my absence from the blogosphere.  Where am I?  What am I doing?

Welcome to my own personal Hell…

It’s all fun and games until the cookies come in and you have to try to sort and deliver 265 boxes.  My favorite part might have been when the leader wanted me to pay her our $930 bill up front.  Yeah, I have that kind of cash just sitting around in my wallet.  I take that back.  My favorite part was the sleeve of Thin Mints I ate today.

We need to get all these suckers delivered before spring break, but luckily there are 2 little girls who are helping deliver (and eat) the cookies:

Do you notice anything different in this picture from the last picture I posted in front of our house?  That’s right!  The snow is all gone!  G-O-N-E, gone!  Peace out winter, and don’t come back!!  Oh, and please pay no attention to fact that the lawn across the street is already greener than ours.  Our lawn says F-you to that lawn.

OMG, that's a ton of cookies! I would have laughed at paying that money up front.

Ummm nice cookies... I think I would be in serious trouble having boxes and boxed of Samoa's in my house. Yes, I know they belong to someone else, but whatever. At least your girls are helping you out!

$930 up front? Um, no thanks. I would have laughed in her face.

I love A-Lo's smock, so cute!!!

Our snow was gone. It had been in the 60s all week, until tonight. Tonight it snowed, ugh.

How would you like to exchange cookies for cash?

Those are a lot of cookies, haha. I remember having to sell candy during my years of high school for the tennis team.

Just stumbled by & I love your blog! :)

omygosh- it's times like this when my heart goes out to my poor mother- i remember when the shipment used to arrive (she was my troop leader) and of course, i LOVED seeing sky-high towers of GS cookies in my garage, but something tells me she had other thoughts, huh? Dagger. I always thought she was as excited as I! Haha.. I'im right there withya on the Thin Mints- I think the 5 pounds that just miraculously appeared during my 20th week of pregnancy was gained in Thin Mints alone.. Is there some secret I don't know about? Are they laced with crack?!!!!!!

Mmmmm cookies!!!

Would you be totally horrified if I tell you that while I was sick, I ate entire sleeve of the peanut butter sandwich cookies while in bed, haha!

Gossip Girl is based off of a book series that I read probably 7 years ago. It is basically about Blair, Serena, Chuck and Nate and their entourage, students at a prep school in NYC. Their lives, partying, shopping, sex, the Hamptons, family drama, etc. Fair warning: It is so addicting. I can't stop watching. I would totally recommend it if you like that kinda stuff, but like I said you will become addicted...fast.

And I totally just noticed your comment for your comments says that's what she said...amazing!

Holy cookies! I am uber jealous:) I don't know any Girl Scouts these days. My mom was cookie mom when I was growing up and it was her own personal hell:) Good luck!!!

Tami,

Those cookies loook so good!!!
;-)

I found out through the grapevine that you recommended by blog on Connect MEme Monday on The Pursuit of Mommyness. Kelly came to visit me to let me know. You are so sweet and thank you from the bottom of my heart! You rock, girl! (I was clueless about the MEme Monday thing until I did some investigating to figure it out)

Hope your weekend is going well----we got 8 inches of snow yesterday--UGH!

I would like to both thank you and curse you for insisting that Cadbury Mini Eggs were a necessity. I bought them. Five minutes later, and I'm almost out.

We had the same situation with Boy Scout popcorn in the fall. Hubs is in charge of the order for the entire pack. One year we had to pay hundreds of dollars out of our personal account because the pack was broke and people wouldn't pick up their orders. Nightmare.

Ha! I love that the lawns in the neighborhood talk smack to each other!

Also, all those boxes of cookies make me happy I have a boy. Cub scouts don't sell anything, do they?
